This year we are celebrating the 150th Anniversary (1871 - 2021) of the First Baptist congregation.
The church body has met in several locations since its beginning, and even under different names, but First Baptist has remained a source of mission and ministry to the Olympia community and beyond.
Displays of historical documents and artifacts are up now in the fellowship area adjacent to the sanctuary. These displays will change every three weeks through the November celebration.
Also save the date(s) to join us in November for the following celebration events and activities.
Open House for present and past members to stop by Fellowship Hall for lite refreshments and "Baptist cocktails".
Also, if you were married at First Baptist, please feel free to bring your framed wedding picture to display during the evening.
Come and gather informally with friends old and new!
Afternoon Anniversary Worship Service with a dinner and program afterwards in the Fellowship Hall.
Information regarding dinner reservations will be available on this page in September.
Worship at 10 am in the sanctuary with a sermon focused on theme of the weekend, "Standing at the Crossroads."
